Hendra Hermawan specializes in the metallurgy and electrochemistry of corrosion, with a particular focus on revealing the relationship between the microstructure and electrochemical behavior of high-performance metal alloys. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario. He serves the scientific community as a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals and as a reviewer of papers and grant applications related to materials science and engineering.
